Davie played in 39 games with 15 starts at Arkansas, and entered the NFL following his junior season. He posted a total of 24 receptions for 199 yards and six touchdowns during his career. Primarily used as a blocking tight end, he helped the Razorbacks average 286.5 yards rushing per game during his sophomore season.
After high school Davie entered the 2001 MLB Draft and was drafted in the 32nd round to the St. Louis Cardinals. He played four seasons of minor league baseball in the Cardinals organization, and he totaled 20 home runs and 97 RBI in his minor league career.
