Hankton is a quick wide receiver who is an excellent route runner, and also has an amazing ability to get downfield. He is one of only four players to play in all 16 games as an undrafted rookie for the Jaguars.
Hankton was a three-year starter at Texas Southern who established himself as one of Division I-AA’s elite wide receivers. During his college career he had a total of 175 receptions for 3,400 yards and 30 touchdowns. He set a school record with at least one touchdown catch in 10 consecutive games during his senior year, and led team with 61 receptions for 941 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior. He graduated with a degree in business management.
He is currently working towards his MBA and doctorate at Argosy University. In his spare time he volunteers with displaced military reservists from his native New Orleans. He attended St. Augustine High in New Orleans and lettered in both football and track.
