Pro Career:
David is known as “Mr. Irrelevant” after being selected with the final pick in the NFL Draft. He is the first Mr. Irrelevant to start a game as a rookie since LB Marty Moore started for New England in 1994.
College Career:
During his career at Idaho he ranked third in the Western Athletic Conference with 324 career tackles. David was among the nation’s top tacklers over his final two seasons, totaling 134 tackles (seventh in NCAA) as a junior in 2006 and 148 tackles (third in NCAA) as a senior in 2007. As a senior he was an All-WAC first-team honoree, team captain and MVP. Vobora also became the 10th player in school history to lead the team in tackles twice in a career. He double majored in psychology and communications.
Personal:
David played linebacker, safety, tight end, quarterback and running back during his three-year career at Winston Churchill High in Eugene, Oregon. He earned second-team All-Conference at linebacker during junior season and honorable mention All-Midwestern League at quarterback during his senior season.
