Horton played in 23 games for the Green Bay Packers from 2004-05. He saw action in the NFC Wild Card Game during the postseason in 2004 against the Minnesota Vikings. He has also played with the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League during 2003.
Jason Horton finished his college career at North Carolina A&T after spending his freshman season at North Carolina. He saw action in 10 games as a junior, collecting 58 tackles, six interceptions for 58 yards, two fumble recoveries and 13 passes. Horton was a communications major with an emphasis in public relations.
Jason was a four-time letter winner at Hertford County High School in Ahoskie, NC. He was named Roanoke-Chowan Area Defensive Player of the Year. Horton has two daughters.
