Pro Career:

Wilkerson is a versatile defensive lineman who provides depth at multiple positions along the defensive line, and has the ability to play effectively on the inside. This former sixth-round draftee was named the Chiefs Mack Lee Hill Award winner as a rookie in 2003. He appeared in two post season games with the Chiefs, registering three tackles and one special teams stop.

College Career:

Jimmy saw action in 38 games at The University of Oklahoma. While there he amassed 130 tackles (66 solo), 35.0 stops for loss and 12.0 sacks. Wilkerson opened all 14 games at the weakside defensive during his junior season, and he earned first-team All-Big 12 choice by the NFL Draft Report. After his junior season he entered the NFL Draft.

Personal:

Wilkerson was named the East Texas Player of Year as senior and was a two time All-Texas selection at Paul H. Pewitt High School in Omaha, Texas. During his senior season he threw for 1,209 yards as a quarterback, and posted 111 tackles as a linebacker. During his free time he participated in a faith-based youth football, signed autographs, and helped provide food and gifts for children and families at the Children’s Cancer Center Winter Holiday Party. He is married to Jamie with two sons, Tyson and Maddox.
