Pro Career:
Knox has great initial quickness off the snap to get into his route, and reliable hands that can adjust quickly to poor throws. He works hard to block downfield and is experienced as punt returner.
College Career:
Knox was honored as an All-American and All-Conference selection following both of his seasons at Abilene Christian. He had 118 receptions for 2,227 yards, 30 TDs in his two seasons at Abilene, and concluded his career with the most TD receptions in school history. He also ranked second in school history with nine 100-yard receiving games and tied for first with two 200-yard contests. During his 2007 season with ACU he set a school single-season record with 17 TD receptions.
Personal:
Johnny Knox attended Channelview High School in Houston. He was the first-team all-state selection as a senior.
