Pro Career:
Nehemiah Broughton was the 7th round pick for the Washington Redskins in the 2005 NFL Draft. He appeared in six career games with the Redskins during the 2005 and 2006 season. During the 2007 he was on injured reserve.
College Career:
Broughton attended The Citadel, where he finished his career with 47 receptions for 455 yards and 25 touchdowns. He also had 581 carries for 2,638 rushing yards, which ranks fifth on the school’s career-record list. Nehemiah majored in Sports Management.
Personal:
Broughton attended North Charleston High School in North Charleston, South Carolina. As a senior, he earned All-State and All-Low Country selection after rushing for 1,670 yards and 23 touchdowns. He also participated in the All North-South game following his senior football season.
