Pro Career:

Played in all 16 games as a rookie in 2009 with Seattle but was cut following the Seahawks 2010 training camp… Collected 8 career tackles, 1.0 sack, 2 PDs… Returned a fumble recovery 79 yards for a TD vs. JAX (10/11/09), which is tied for the second-longest in Seattle franchise history… Made NFL debut vs. STL (9/13/09).

College Career:

Set the Oregon career record with 29.5 sacks, which ranked fourth in Pac-10 Conference history and 10th in the NCAA major college ranks at the time of his departure… His 51.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage also set an Oregon all-time record and placed fourth in conference annals while ranking 14th in college football history.

SENIOR: Named All-American and Academic All-American and was a finalist for the Ted Hendricks Award (nation’s top defensive end) for the second consecutive year.

JUNIOR: All-Pac 10 Conference first-team pick… Led the Pac 10 and ranked fourth nationally with 13 sacks… His 20.0 stops for loss placed him tied for eighth in the NCAA… Also led country with five fumble recoveries… Posted 53 tackles (35 solos) and caused two fumbles.

Attended Trabuco Canyon (Mission Viejo, Calif.) H.S. … Earned all-Orange County Region honors from the Los Angeles Times and Defensive Player of the Year accolades by the Orange County Register… First-team all-CIF Southern Section, CIF Southern Section Division II co-Defensive Player of the Year and South Coast League Defensive MVP… Also received votes on the Long Beach Press-Telegram Best in the West balloting… Credited with 65 tackles, 10 sacks and two fumble recoveries as a senior.
