Pro Career:

Pannel Egboh is a strong, agile defensive end that adds depth to the defensive line rotation.  The 6-foot-6-inch, 287-pounder uses his sturdy frame to cause disruption in the offensive backfield.  Prior to his arrival in Tennessee, Egboh spent time with the San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans and Philadelphia Eagles

College Career:

Egboh was a three-year starter and totaled 140 tackles, 10 sacks, 3 FFs. As a fifth year senior he led all Cardinal defensive linemen for the second straight season with a career-high 49 tackles, which was the fifth highest total on the team. Pannel earned 2007 Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Week honors after recording a career-best 10 tackles in Stanford’s upset victory over second-ranked USC. He earned a degree in management science and engineering.

Personal:

Although Pannel only played in one season of football at North Mesquite High School, he finished his senior campaign with 54 tackles, four sacks, three fumble recoveries and three blocked field goals. He was named SuperPrep All-Southwest team selection and McDonald’s Scholar Athlete as a senior. He also played basketball for two seasons.
